Customer Statement

Marshall Products Ltd wish to thank all our loyal Customers for working with us during a challenging period of change.

We have taken the opportunity to restructure our business to reflect the changes within the NHS and are now back to higher than normal production levels and look forward to both continued and new partnerships within the healthcare market.

Background

As you may have been aware our manufacturing facility was affected by the worst ever Typhoon to hit the Southern China shores. Both our manufacturing capacity and staff housing were damaged due to the fierce flash floods and subsequent water damage. Thankfully no one from our company lost their lives.

We have been working to help our staff rebuild their homes as well as rebuilding our manufacturing capacity back to normal levels.

Moving Forward

All our product lines are now in stock and available with the exception of our laryngoscopes, as their production was severely affected and as a result we currently have very limited laryngoscope stocks. Based on customer feedback, we have taken the decision to focus on our bulb and fibre optic laryngoscope ranges only. The manufacturing facility of both the bulb and fibre optic ranges is now back into full production and so from May 2011 we will have full stocks of both these ranges, however once we have diminished our limited supplies of LED laryngoscopes we will no longer be able to supply this range. For your information, if you are currently using our LED laryngoscopes, your existing blades and handles are inter-compatible with our bulb range of handles and blades. In conjunction with the restructuring of our business, to continue to provide competitive pricing and a high level of service to our customers, Marshall Products has streamlined its distribution network.

We are now working in collaboration with Bunzl Healthcare Limited who will process and deliver all orders. Orders can be placed with your local Bunzl depot following the normal procedure within your hospital. Please liaise with your internal Procurement department as required or should you have any questions concerning the process of placing an order please contact your Bunzl representative who will be able to guide you though the process. Details of your relevant depot and / or your relevant Bunzl representative can be found on the attached sheet.

All Marshall Pricing will remain the same and the products codes will remain the same except for the prefix M6 now in front of all codes. However there is a reduction in carriage from £12 for all orders below £500, to the new Bunzl Small Order Charge of £10 for all orders below £50 and free for all orders above £50. Deliveries will still be sent within 2-3 working days from receipt of order.

In order to ensure continuity of service, any orders sent to Marshall Products Limited will now be forwarded to Bunzl Healthcare Limited. Any queries regarding orders now placed or invoices received should also be directed to Bunzl Healthcare. Marshall Products has taken the decision to work in partnership with Bunzl Healthcare who are a market leader within this field and already supply the majority of our customer base. This change only concerns the delivery element of your ordering process and we will continue to maintain an active involvement in all other aspects including remaining the first point of contact for product and pricing queries.
